Port of Cork offers two ferry routes which are operated by Swansea Cork Ferries and Britanny Ferries, these sail to two points on the coast of Wales, with departures limited to once per day or less.

Cork to Swansea


Swansea Cork Ferries operates the route between the port of Cork and the port of Swansea in South Wales.


Departures are once a day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a journey times of 10 hours. With such long journey times the departures are generally before 9am, or after 8pm for an overnight service. The ferry service has comfortable cabins with en-suite bathrooms, a saloon with movies, restaurant and bar.

Cork to Roscoff


The Cork to Roscoff route is operated by Brittany Ferries and crossings are once a week, with days changing according to the season, and take 12 hours. Similar to Swansea Cork Ferries, sailings are early morning and evening - for an overnight trip. This larger company has a variety of vessels, including the Normandie, the Barfleur, Bretagne, Mont St Michel, Pont L'Abbe and Pont-Aven, all well equipped for overnight journeys, with cabin lodging, a food and drink onboard. Shopping is also offered onboard.
